Anti-Smoking Pill to serve as Anti-Addiction Pill?

Great philosophers say that it isn’t the addiction to smoke, or alcohol that is dangerous, but Addiction itself! It seems, that researchers might have found the cure for the very word Addiction in an anti smoking pill, popularly known as varenicline.

Though quite a few experts disagree about the happening of a magic drug, the researcher say that their drug might work. Generally, as soon as someone smokes the nicotine reaches the brain receptors that give a pleasurable feeling in the brain. But this drug has been found to have block the inhaled nicotine from reinforcing that effect. Hence cutting the person’s want for more cigarettes.

The same way, a paper released says, this drug might work against the effects alcohol as well! We need to wait till there is some more news.
