Smoking not a High in Teens?

A research conducted by Johnson County shows that there has been a dip in the number of smoking teenagers. Thats a good news isn’t it? But then there is bad news to follow it as well.

Actual Story:
All six schools of Johnson County participated in a research program, which has been showing a steady rise in smoking teenagers since 1995. But compared to last year 49.3 percentage, this year shows 44.1 a good figure for many, especially for parents.

But then the other side of the story is that there has been a stunning rise in the usage of Ecstasy, a famous drug along side Cocaine, Marijuana and LSD! From the last year 8.9% the usage of Ecstasy has increased to 19.3.

Researchers are now wondering if this rise means that peddling has increased or if this is a new trend amongst the teens. However, the schools and researchers are happy that their anti smoking programs are working and believe that they will find the root cause to rise of Ecstasy usage.
