Quit Smoking, Reverse Health Problems

“It is not how many years we live, but what we do with them” – Evangeline Booth

Women who quit smoking reverse their health problems. This was highlighted in a study conducted by Harvard University. Many women try to maintain good health, but smoke. Smoking has negative impact on health. By quitting, they improve their overall health.

Researchers at Harvard University collected data covering 100,000 women from 1980 to 2004. They found that those women who quit smoking reduced the risk of death considerably within few years. There was a decrease in the risk of strokes and heart diseases. The blood vessels damaged by smoking get rejuvenated again. Even the number of lung cancer deaths was less.

A smoker is held responsible for his or her health condition, as he or she is in position to quit smoking. Obviously, if the smoker decides to gain control over his heath condition, then he or she just needs to give up smoking.
