Effects of Benzene Exposure and Low Birth Weight in long run: According to Nutritionist Farook Jahoor of the Children’s Nutrition Research Center (CNRC) in Houston, Texas, babies with low birth weight are at high risks of heart diseases. This is because all their lives they produce less lipoproteins. It is this component which sends the cholesterol to the liver, from where it is removed from the body.
