When weed is used without any medical necessity or used over and above permissible limits, it is then termed drug abuse. This is when it becomes a problem and also starts affecting health in a big way.

Weed is prescribed as medicine in certain cases in very small amounts and for a very short period of time. This is to prevent any chances of addiction. Even these small amounts can sometimes have major side-effects on the body and mind, so it is not difficult to see why weed is so bad a drug.

Quit smoking weed

Although everyone would tell a weed user to quit using it, in reality it is a very difficult task. This is mainly because weed is highly addictive. Addicts may need to be in rehab and undergo counseling, may be even take medications, to get over this addiction. But the biggest factor is will power. Addicts need to be really strong willed and stick to their decision of quitting through withdrawal symptoms and other problems while quitting.

  1. Mr. Popp Says:

this article is ridiculous. if you do any research on the addictiveness of marijuana you will find that the two most addictive substances are caffeine and nicotine, both of which are easily accessible to anyone despite their age. soon following caffeine and nicotine are the “hard drugs” such as heroine, cocaine, and crack. alcohol is even considered more addicting than marijuana. as a marijuana smoker, i can speak from experience that my sex drive is not affected in any way negative. if anything it makes the pleasure of sex much greater. condemning marijuana because it is “generally used along with cigarettes, increasing risk of lung cancer” is not a valid reason. cigarettes are the main cause of lung cancer. say i like to have a shot of whiskey every morning with breakfast, are you going to condemn breakfast because it leads to drinking? if you try to find anyone that has ever been on this planet that died from marijuana, you will come up with none.

Mr. Popp is right, this article is so wrong. Weed is not addictive, I smoked weed everyother day for a month and I came off of it so easily. I’m pretty sure it doesn’t cause loss of sex drive, I think it makes you turned on whenever you are smoking and when you come off it… Although I did start forgetting things, but as soon as I came off it everything came back like I just had not found the correct thought archive. Smoke it up is what I would say; If you can afford it go for it!
