The chemicals present in cigarettes are very harmful and tobacco smoke contains nearly 4000 different chemicals, among which 50 are known to cause cancer and many others are poisonous. Any sensible individual who is conscious about his/her health will immediately quit smoking and tobacco products by knowing the various harmful chemicals and their effect on health.

A colorless, highly poisonous liquid used to preserve dead bodies, also found in cigarette smoke.. Formaldehyde in tobacco smoke can cause cancer, respiratory, gastrointestinal and skin problems.
