    Smoking tobacco causes a bulge in the wall of the aorta near the stomach, called abdominal aortic aneurysm’.
    Smoking reduces peoples’ tolerance to exercise, which makes their heart weak. So it indirectly affects the heart.
    Smoking increases the levels of fibrinogen. Fibrinogen is a protein that causes the blood to clot. So the tendency for the blood to clot increases due to smoking.
