Though not a reknown scientist or botanist, for those who want an herbal remedy that does infact reduce the craving for nicotine, try Lobelia inflata. Commonly known as puke weed, the idea is that eating the leaves of this plant can cause nausia towards smoke in general. There are side affects however. The common name should say it all. Not completely sure, but adrenaline induced rushes like participating in race car events to snowboarding, may help with the nausiating feeling. I am currently experomenting on myslef. Maybe its just the point that i'm this determined, that I am doing great in quitting. Sort of like self induced mind theropy.

I am not sure how these remedies could help people leave smoking completely. My dear friend, sometimes the situation is very severe and without psychological help it might not be possible for a person to quit smoking..
